Ask your facility what's happening.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP assistant to the Pythia DM and ask in plain English. It answers from your live equipment data: what's in alarm, what changed, how long the batteries will last, and what to watch next.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT and any assistant that speaks MCP or HTTPS.
Utility power was lost at 2:14 PM. The generator is starting, and the transfer switch is waiting for it to come up to speed.
- UPS-1 on battery · 42% load · 17 min remaining
- UPS-2 on battery · 38% load · 19 min remaining
- GEN-1 starting · ATS-1 waiting to transfer
- Critical loads powered · room temperatures steady at 72°F
Everything is holding for now. I'll keep watching the UPS units, the generator and the transfer switch, and tell you the moment the load moves to the generator.
- GEN-1 running · ATS-1 transferred the load to the generator
- UPS-1 and UPS-2 back online and recharging
Utility power is still out. I'll let you know when it returns.
A power failure, an alarm and a morning check, answered by Claude.
Watch an assistant follow a utility outage until the generator takes the load, acknowledge a CRAC alarm only after you allow it, and explain what changed overnight, all from live DM data.
Answers in seconds, from the site itself.
No dashboards to dig through and no reports to build. Ask the way you'd ask a colleague, and the assistant looks it up in the DM.
Your assistant talks to the DM. The DM talks to your equipment.
The DM already monitors your equipment in its own protocols. The AI Connector gives your assistant a secure, controlled way to ask the DM about it.
What the assistant can read
- Live values from every connected unit
- Active alarms and alarm history
- Trends, from the last few minutes to the long term
- Controls and their limits
- The DM's protocol maps
What it can change, only when you allow it
- Acknowledge an alarm
- Change the setpoint of a control an operator has enabled, within its limits
- Nothing else. Every write policy starts off.
Read-only until you decide otherwise.
Hospitals, data centers and telecom sites can't afford surprises. The AI Connector starts locked down, and every step beyond reading is your decision.
Available across the Pythia DM family.
Add it to the DM server, SPDM, SPIGM or SPAC4. It reads what the DM already monitors, so there's nothing to change on your equipment.
Who it's for
- Facilities managers who want answers without digging through screens.
- On-call staff who need the whole picture at 2 a.m., from a phone.
- IT and OT teams adopting AI, who need a reliable, structured feed of data from physical infrastructure.
DM AI Connector questions, answered.
What is the DM AI Connector?
A Pythia DM feature that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT answer questions from your live facility data. The assistant can read live values, alarms and alarm history, controls and trends from the DM, and can make changes only where an administrator allows it.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Claude, ChatGPT and any assistant that speaks MCP or HTTPS.
Can the assistant change anything at my site?
Not unless you allow it. New assistant accounts are read-only, and every write policy is off until an administrator turns it on. Even then, an operator must enable each control first, and values outside a control's limits are refused.
Can the assistant see passwords or user accounts?
No. Credentials and user accounts are never visible to the assistant. Each assistant has its own API account and token, which can be revoked at any time.
Can the assistant keep watching an event and report back?
Yes, when your assistant supports it. The assistant can check the DM again as things change and tell you when, for example, the generator takes the load or utility power returns.
Which Pythia products support the AI Connector?
It's available for the DM server, SPDM, SPIGM and SPAC4. Include it when you order, or ask us about adding it to your system.
Do I need to change my equipment?
No. The AI Connector reads what the DM already monitors, so nothing changes on your equipment.
