Sensors, I/O modules and leak detectors.

The pieces that connect a room, a contact or a drip pan to your monitoring: a network temperature and humidity sensor, Modbus and BACnet I/O modules, and point and rope leak detectors.

Sensors

Environment readings on the network.

TH1

TH1 Ethernet temperature and humidity sensor

The TH1 is a network temperature and humidity sensor with its own web page. Read it in a browser, poll it over HTTP or JSON, or let it push readings to a server on a schedule or when conditions leave a set range.

  • Web page shows temperature, humidity and min/max values
  • Simple HTTP outputs for temperature and humidity, plus a JSON output
  • Works with PRTG (HTTP Data Advanced sensor) and Zabbix
  • Pushes readings by HTTP GET at a set interval or when a value goes out of range, including to services like IFTTT
  • DHCP or static IP address, Fahrenheit or Celsius
  • Powered by USB-C, or over PoE with the optional PoE-to-USB-C adapter

CM03A

CM03A 22 universal input module

The CM03A adds 22 universal inputs to a monitoring system or BMS. Each input can read a dry contact, a thermistor or a voltage signal, and the module reports them over Modbus or BACnet on Ethernet or RS-485.

Wire dry contacts and sensors from equipment that has no network port, then read them from the Pythia DM or your BMS. Pythia also builds the CM03A with an MS0-MS so the inputs report over SNMP.

CM04A

CM04A 8 input / 14 output module

The CM04A is a general-purpose input/output module for HVAC, lighting, temperature and other building automation points. It reads eight universal inputs and drives six relays and eight analog outputs, all over standard protocols.

  • 8 universal inputs: 0–5 V, 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, 10K thermistor or dry contact
  • 6 relay outputs and 8 analog outputs (0–10 VDC)
  • Speaks Modbus and BACnet: Modbus TCP and BACnet/IP on Ethernet, Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP on RS-485
  • Dual RS-485 pass-through ports for easy daisy-chaining
  • Static IP by default, DHCP available
  • DIN-rail mounting; power supply options available
Inputs8 universal: 0–5 V, 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, 10K thermistor, dry contact
Relay outputs6, rated 3 A @ 120 VAC
Analog outputs8, 0–10 VDC
PortsEthernet; dual RS-485 pass-through
ProtocolsModbus TCP, Modbus RTU, BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP
Serial9600–115200 baud
Power15–24 VAC/DC ±10%, 50–60 Hz
Operating temperature−30°C to 70°C (−22°F to 158°F)
Humidity10–90% RH
EnclosureIP31, DIN-rail

Use it where the system needs to switch or set something, not just read it: start a fan, open a damper, signal another system.

Leak detectors

Spot and rope detection for leak panels and BMS inputs.

Pythia LD1 point liquid detector
LD1

LD1 point liquid detector

The LD1 detects conductive liquid at one spot, such as a CRAC drip pan or under a unit. Gold-plated probes set the trip height, and SPDT contacts wire straight into a leak panel, BMS or monitoring input.

  • Gold-plated probes, height adjustable 0 to 1.5 in
  • SPDT alarm contacts, field-selectable NO or NC
  • E/D jumper: energized or fail-safe de-energized output
  • Green power LED and red alarm LED, visible outside the enclosure
  • Weather-resistant NEMA 4 cast-aluminum enclosure, adjustable legs
  • 11–27 VAC/VDC operation
DetectsConductive liquids (water) at the probe
Supply11–27 VAC @ 1.7 VA; 11–27 VDC @ 30 mA
RelaySPDT, 1 A @ 24 VAC/VDC; 0.5 A @ 120 VAC

Pythia LD2 sensing-rope liquid detector
LD2 Series

LD2 sensing-rope liquid detector

The LD2 senses liquid anywhere along a rope run on the floor or under pipes. A separate Trouble relay tells you if the rope is unplugged, broken or cut, so a damaged rope never looks like a dry floor.

  • Detects liquid anywhere along a plenum-rated sensing rope
  • Independent SPDT Alarm and Trouble relays
  • Rope supervision: Trouble on unplug, break or cut
  • Trouble relay can be jumpered as a second Alarm relay
  • Multi-color status LED for power, alarm and trouble
  • LD2-10, -25, -50, -100 (rope length in feet) or LD2-LC with leader cable
ModelsLD2-10, LD2-25, LD2-50, LD2-100, LD2-LC
Supply11–27 VAC @ 2.4 VA; 11–27 VDC @ 60 mA
Relays2 SPDT (Alarm, Trouble), 1 A @ 24 VAC/VDC; 0.5 A @ 120 VAC

Questions

Accessories questions, answered.

What accessories does Pythia offer?

The TH1 Ethernet temperature and humidity sensor, the CM03A and CM04A input/output modules, and the LD1 point and LD2 rope liquid detectors.

Which I/O module should I choose?

Choose the CM03A to read a lot of points (22 universal inputs, no outputs). Choose the CM04A when you also need to switch relays or set analog outputs.

Can the TH1 report to PRTG or Zabbix?

Yes. PRTG reads the TH1 JSON output with an HTTP Data Advanced sensor, and Zabbix reads it with an HTTP item. The TH1 can also push readings to a server by HTTP GET.

What is the difference between the LD1 and LD2?

The LD1 detects liquid at one spot, such as a drip pan. The LD2 detects liquid anywhere along a sensing rope, and its Trouble relay reports a cut, broken or unplugged rope.

Do the leak detectors work with the Remote Leak Detection Panel?

Yes. Both run on 11–27 VAC or VDC, so the panel can power them, and their SPDT contacts wire straight into the panel zones.

How much do accessories cost?
